Miami Design District continues to grow excitedly architectural stores facades and high-end flagship boutiques, luxury furniture brands are looking for the best spots to open its doors, hoping to captivate the international shoppers equipping modern homes in the city.
And for the Italian furniture brand Minotti wasn’t different.
“It’s the latest destination,” says partner Siamak Hakakian of Miami’s buzzy shopping area. “People can go from store to store, they can go to lunch. We want to be close to all of that.”

For the 10,000 square showroom, Hakakian and the Minotti family went for more than the standard white-box, gallery-style space with the expected concrete floors and sterile palette.
“We wanted this to be a very architectural design,” Hakakian explains, emphasizing the importance of helping customers imagine the pieces in their own homes. “We wanted people to walk in and think, ‘Wow, the furniture looks amazing in this space.’
