Miami Design Week Irreverent Furniture Design

Miami design week is over but with it we have come to the best trends in the world of design and art. Despite the attention on the art exhibitors, the irreverence of furniture design has one of the highest points of the fair.
We could noticed that the last few years the mid-century French and vintage furniture were dominating but the public wants more  experimental pieces.
“Times are crazy,” said Juan Garcia Mosqueda of New York gallery Chamber. “No-one wants to play it safe anymore.”
“Apocalyptic times call for extreme furniture,” said the New York designer Misha Kahn, presented by Friedman Benda gallery.
