Some architects and designers have been working together. For what ? To raise money to a charity cause. They have been challenged to design a Dolls’ House in aid of charity KIDS.
“The project was inspired by the dolls’ house that Edwin Lutyens designed to showcase modern architecture for The British Empire Exhibition in 1922, and has been curated by Cathedral Group.” say Charity Choise Blog
Zaha Hadid, David Adjaye, Morag Myerscough, Luke Morgan, AHMM, Grayson Perry, Chris Ofili, Guy Holloway, Hemingway Design, Studio Egret West, Andrew Logan are some of the famous architects and designers who embrace this cause.
They designed the houses with unique details to help children with disability. This creative miniature home doesn’t forget the interior design, all they needed to include one detail in each mini-house who improve the life of the child. Amazing don’t you think ?
You can know more about this project in the Doll’s House Website and you can also place bids (here) on the models! All money going to charity.
“There will be a public exhibition of all the dolls’ houses at Bonhams – New Bond Street, London W1S, from 10-11 November, and on 11 November the houses will be auctioned at Bonhams to raise money for KIDS. Seven of the houses are also available to view at Senator, 11-13 Melton Street, London NW1, until 7 November.” @ DesignWeek
